International Exchange Program

International Exchange Program

In 2005, Champollion received the Erasmus University Charter.
Higher education institutions in 31 European countries are involved in this programme, which affords students the opportunity to study abroad for part of their degree.

Champollion University, while firmly grounded in the local community, is open to international exchanges.
We have more than 25 partnerships in 13 countries and several internationally recognised degrees (Dakar, Abidjan and Bucarest) are now available.

Furthermore, since Albi was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2010, our region has boasted rising international relevance.
All the exchange programmes are managed by the International Relations Department.

The University of Algarve

The University of Algarve is a young state university located in the southeastern part of Portugal. It was established in 1979 and over the years the institution has acquired a sound international reputation. The University has witnessed significant growth in terms of its student population, modern facilities and the quality and diversity of programmes on offer.

The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies

The Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies is the oldest and most prestigious university of economics and business studies in Romania.
The Academy has 47093 students of which 35173 study at undergraduate level, 7792 are on graduate level studies and 2235 are enrolled in doctoral programmes.

The University of Athens

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is the largest state institution of higher learning in Greece, and among the largest universities in Europe.
With a student body of about 80,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, over 2.000 members of academic staff and approximately 1.300 administrative and secretarial staff and specialised personnel, the University of Athens aims at excellence in both teaching and research in a significantly varied range of disciplines.

Peter Pazmany University

Pázmány Péter Catholic University is a private university of the Catholic Church in Hungary, recognized by the State. Founded in the 17th century, the PPKE is one of Hungary's oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher education.
The university has five faculties and two institutes.
Approximately over 9,000 students attend the University, including corresponding students and students studying from abroad.

University of West Bohémia

At present the University has eight faculties with more than 60 departments and three institutes of higher education. Nearly 19,000 students can choose from a wide range of Bachelor, Master and PhD study programmes. The broad structure provides students with the widest range of study possibilities with the options of full-time or combined study.

University of Girona

The University of Girona is a public institution devoted to excellence in teaching and research and to participating in the progress and development of society through the creation, transmission, dissemination and criticism of knowledge related to the sciences, technology, the humanities, the social sciences and the arts.
The University of Girona, deeply rooted in Catalonia and Catalan culture, is one of the primary economic and cultural motors of the region. At the same time, it pursues a vocation of universality and openness to all traditions and cultures.

Jagiellonian University

The university has 52,445 students (including 1,612 degree students from abroad) and 3,657 academic staff. About 1,130 international non-degree students were enrolled in 2007. Programmes of study are offered in 48 disciplines and 93 specialisations.

The University of Cagliari

The University is a public and state University. It has about 36,000 enrolled students, a teaching staff of over 1,200 and a technical-administrative staff of about 1,300 people.
In addition, there are 270 visting professors.

The University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh, founded in 1583, is ranked as one of the UK's leading universities and has recently been rated as Number 1 for research in Scotland by the government 'Research Assessment Exercise'.

University of Southampton

Southampton had become one of the leading universities in the UK, with a reputation for academic excellence, attracting students and researchers from all over the world.
The University is organised into eight Faculties, each with a number of academic units.

The University of Southampton is already one of the top 15 research universities in the UK and has achieved consistently high scores for its teaching and learning activities.

Hacettepe University

Hacettepe University carries on its activities with 13 faculties, 13 institutes , 2 schools, 1 conservatory , 6 vocational schools, and 41 research and application centers within the scope of Act No. 2809 of the Organization for Higher Education Institutions, which was enacted in 1982.

Hacettepe University, as one of the leading universities of the country, continues to contribute to social development and universal values in the fields of science, technology and art.

Saint Francis University

The University places particular emphasis on developing individuals who will lead or serve with character and values in their chosen professions and communities.

The University of Salamanca

The University of Salamanca, founded in 1218, is a medium sized university with over thirty thousand students. It is the second most popular university in the country for students wanting to study outside their home districts.

Adnan Menderes University

Adnan Menderes University was founded in Aydın in 1992. The main aim of Adnan Menderes University is to bring up young individuals who have fully adopted secular and democratic values in line with Atatürk's principles and Kemalist reforms; who can do research, ask questions, and discuss; who can create solutions stipulated by reason and science; who assume a rational approach in all areas from production to administration; who safeguard national values; who can contribute to Turkish civilization and who are highly qualified people of the information age.

The University of Almeria

The University of Almeria (UAL) was founded in 1993. Today it has more than 12000 students, including 600 doctorate students. In spite of its recent creation, the UAL has a modern infrastructure, a wonderful library, last generation laboratories, cafeterias…

University of Castilla-La Mancha

The University of Castilla-La Mancha, offers courses in the cities of Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Toledo, Almadén, Talavera de la Reina and Puertollano.
The Albacete campus houses Faculties of Medicine, Economic and Business Sciences, Law and Humanities. The Schools of Agronomical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Nursing, Teacher Training and Employment Relations are also based there.

Windesheim university

Windesheim is one of the largest of the 55 Universities of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands with over 17.000 students. It offers study programmes in 50 different disciplines, which are grouped within the various departments. The emphasis is on a student-focused, practice-oriented education.

The University of Alicante

Today there are 33,000 students at Alicante University and consequently it is proportionally the fastest growing university in Spain.The University of Alicante presents a very high potential regarding the socio-economic development; in fact it is the fourth province of Spain in GBP (Gross National Product).

The university of Navarra

The University of Navarra is a private pontifical university based at the southeast border of Pamplona, Spain. Through its four campuses (Pamplona, San Sebastián, Madrid and Barcelona), the University confers 27 official degrees and administers more than 300 postgraduate programs (including 33 doctoral programs and 13 master's programs) through 10 schools, 2 superior colleges, 2 university schools.

University of Zaragoza

Founded in 1542, it is one of the oldest universities in the world (with a history dating back to the Roman period), has over 40,000 students in its 22 faculties, and ranks among the top public universities in Europe. Academic staff at the University of Zaragoza are highly specialised and have a broad research and teaching experience.

University of Extremadura

Founded in 1973, the UEx, with over 22,000 students enrolled, is nowadays a dynamic institution, which is still in the process of growing. The University has campuses in Badajoz, Cáceres, Mérida and Plasencia, towns which preserve their rich historical past (two are World Heritage Centres).

The university of Jyvaskyla

The University of Jyväskylä is a university in Jyväskylä, Finland. It has its origins in the first Finnish-speaking teacher training college (the so-called Teacher Seminary), founded in 1863. Around 16,000 students are currently enrolled in the degree programs of the university.It is ranked as the second largest university in Finland when measured according to the number of Master’s degrees conferred.
