Interested in studying at INU Champollion?
The Institut National Universitaire Champollion is developing around thirty exchange programs in partnership with foreign universities. To study at INU Champollion, you must be enrolled at a university with which we have an agreement, and be selected by your home university. The length of the course varies from one to two semesters, depending on your project.
Here’s how to apply
Your home university's international relations department is your key contact. The application procedure is carried out directly via this entry.
Settling in at INU Champollion
As soon as you arrive, please report to the International Relations Department, where you will be given all the information you need about your stay.à vous présenter au service des relations internationales où tous les renseignements concernant votre séjour vous seront donnés.
- Copy of passport
- Student card proving enrollment at your home university for the current academic year
- Transcripts
- Social security form or private insurance, depending on country of origin
- Detailed educational contract signed by the head of the program at your home university
- European social security card
- Repatriation insurance
- Third-party liability insurance
All documents must be submitted before your arrival in France.
You must have between €680 and €840 per month for the duration of your stay.
This amount covers expenses for accommodation, food, outings, leisure activities, etc. Students are well supported in France:
- Subsidized university canteens (price per meal ≈ €3.20)
- Student accommodation (room price/month ≈ €200)
- Discounts on transport, leisure activities, etc.
In Albi:
When you apply, INU Champollion will reserve a room for you on the Albi campus, subject to availability. If accommodation is obtained, 2 months' rent must be paid on arrival: 1 normal month (€100) + 1 month's deposit, i.e. €200 in total. Payment can be made in cash or by check drawn in France.Please note: rent is subject to change. Please contact our service department for further information.
- In Rodez:

Not exchange program
Students from the European Union
Application and registration procedures are the same as for French students. You can contact the desired department directly, specifying the exact title of the degree you are interested in.
Students from outside the European Union
All applicants must hold foreign degrees allowing access to the University.
For registration in the 1st year of a Bachelor's degree
Download the green preliminary admission application (DAP) form from the website of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, from October 1. Complete and return this application to the International Relations Department by December 15 of the year of university enrollment. The deadline is non-negotiable.
As part of this mandatory procedure, non-French-speaking candidates (from countries where the official language is not French) have to take the TCF French language proficiency test, designed to assess a candidate’s written and oral comprehension of the French language and to evaluate their written expression. Some candidates are exempt.
The procedure varies depending on whether or not you are a national of a country that has signed the CEF (Centre d'Études pour la France) agreement.

If your country does not have a Campus France office, you must obtain the DAP form (preliminary admission application) from the French Embassy or Alliance Française in your country. The procedure takes place between October 1 and December 15 (deadline for submitting applications to schools).
For 2nd year, 3rd year and Master's registrations
Applications for 2nd and 3rd year Bachelor's degrees are submitted via the Aria e-candidature portal
Students whose native language is not French are required to take the TCF test for French language proficiency.
Registering for a Bachelor's degree
Applications for Master's degree on MonMaster
Master 2 is also available for students who have completed a Master 1 at another institution or hold a degree deemed to be equivalent, subject to their application being accepted.

IMPORTANT: A degree may be validated by one establishment but not by another. An academic committee is fully responsible for answering all inquiries (it will decide in particular on whether the content of the degrees presented are compatible with the requirements of the training requested; the language level will also be taken into account).

Dès votre arrivée, vous êtes invité à vous présenter au service des relations internationales où tous les renseignements concernant votre séjour vous seront donnés.
Pour l'année universitaire 2025/2026, l'établissement appliquera une exonération partielle des droits d'inscription pour les étudiants extra-communautaires.
Il convient de prévoir :
- 3 photographies (faites chez un photographe professionnel)
- photocopie du passeport
- inscription de l'année en cours (certificat de scolarité, carte étudiante)
- justificatif de domicile
La procédure est dématérialisée. Vous pouvez la faire sur le site du ministère
Vous devez disposez d'une somme comprise entre 680 et 840€ par mois de séjour.
Cette somme représente les dépenses de logement, nourriture, sorties, loisirs, etc ... Les étudiants jouissent en France de conditions avantageuses :
- restauration universitaire subventionnée (prix du repas ≈ 3,30 €)
- réductions sur les transports, les loisirs, etc...
Vous devez chercher dans le secteur public ou dans le privé, seul ou en-colocation, dans une chambre chez l’habitant ou dans un logement indépendant. Vous pouvez faire vos recherches à partir de site de locations.

Test de connaissance de Français - TCF
Si vous souhaitez vous inscrire dans un établissement d'enseignement supérieur en France, vous devez vous présenter au TCF DAP (Test de Connaissance de Français spécifique à la Demande d'Admission Préalable). L'INU Champollion est centre agréé de passation du TCF.
En quoi consiste le TCF ?
Le TCF est le test de niveau linguistique des ministères français de l'Éducation nationale, de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche. Il évalue les compétences en français langue générale des personnes dont le français n'est pas la langue maternelle. À ce titre, il est donc reconnu par la direction de l'enseignement supérieur, par les autorités universitaires et par les centres de formation en langues ainsi que par le monde professionnel.
Quelles sont les épreuves ?
Le test (TCF pour la DAP) comprend des épreuves de compréhension orale et écrite, de maîtrise des structures de la langue ainsi qu'une épreuve obligatoire d'expression écrite.

Comment s'inscrire au TCF ?
L'inscription au TCF s'effectue sur le site du France Education International. Vous y trouverez les étapes nécessaires à votre inscription. Les candidats qui choisissent de s'inscrire en ligne devront être munis d'une carte de paiement (Visa ou Mastercard) pour effectuer le règlement de 63€. Vous devez imprimer le justificatif d'inscription à partir du lien donné.
